    technical staff never reply to tickets or requests for a call back, managers seem to be impossible to talk to. There is no option at all for customer service on their automated phone system (that along should an indication). phone volume is always really low so you cant hear what they are saying.

    this should be 100mb dedicated server

    Beware of this host, gotta be the worst customer service ive ever known, 2 months to to fix bandwith problems on their network. You wont get a 100mbit . All i get is passed from one person to another these are just delay tactics.
    The problem will never get fixed!!! Dont make my mistake, Avoid Avoid Avoid!!!

    Never had any issues, had a harddisk fail in dedicated server and everything was replaced and running within 1 hour. I think this hosting provider as improved no end in the last 18 months.

    A decent host but expensive options will deter those seeking a host with a good service. Option prices have decreased during the past few years but are still more than competitors. There are downtimes on odd occasions so load balancing is essential for those needing 100% uptime.

    FTP is not at its best with large files being uploaded, especially on passive connections. A change in ISP and different FTP clients on my end HAVE NOT helped and Fasthosts have yet to resolve the problem. However, download speeds are fantastic.

    24/7 customer services on a national rate number is something that stands out from many hosts (some charge 50p/min, some open on a 9-5 basis). Customer support with Fasthosts has been good for the few years I’ve been using them. Customer services however doesn’t reflect the support service.

    Not even close to being a good host, the server was always going down, sometimes the FTP server would stop responding for hours, the support was pretty poor, and the control panel was simply dire.

    Tried both linux and windows hosting with these guys for around 6 months. Won’t ever be going back.

    I’ve never had any serious problems with them and only had to contact them once and they responded quickly. Extras are exspensive however but if you pick the right acount you won’t need any of them. The uptime is also good, only been a few times since christmas that the server wasn’t there and it was very brief. On the downside though the sql server seems to dissapear occasionally!

    Never had down time in 18 months. Customer service fast and effective AND an 01 number so local call, cheap. really surprised to read above reviews. Hope I’m not suddenly going to find the catch.
